Ms Ruth R (Holland Hall, University of Exeter, July 2017): Very quiet & comfortable. All went well.

Mr Phil M (Holland Hall, University of Exeter, April 2017): The reception staff were fantastic and when we asked for a " room with a view" they couldn't have been more accommodating. We will definately be coming back.

Mr John K (Holland Hall, University of Exeter, September 2015): Good experience. Made a good finish to a very enjoyable holiday. We will return.

Mrs Judith M (Holland Hall, University of Exeter, August 2015): A comfortable and pleasant stay with wonderful views! Thank you.

Mr James K (Holland Hall, University of Exeter, August 2015):

Mrs Helen T (Holland Hall, University of Exeter, August 2015): Would have been better if the bed had been more comfortable, and there had been a little more consideration from other guests ( mainly international students) who thought it was acceptable to stand right outside our window and discuss their evening out - at 3.15am. Room was basic and small but at the price it was value for money.

Mr Leonard P (Holland Hall, University of Exeter, August 2015): Very surly and curt reception with no information volunteered about facilities, directions, how soon the lift would be repaired etc., that could have made our stay more enjoyable. Room generally satisfactory and catering staff very helpful and pleasant at breakfasts.

Ms Alison L (Holland Hall, University of Exeter, July 2015): breakfast was not included beautiful campus and view!

Mrs Heather R (Holland Hall, University of Exeter, July 2015): I had accidentally booked 2 rooms for the wrong night but they managed to find 2 vacant rooms for me without any problems Many thanks

Mrs Lesley M (Holland Hall, University of Exeter, April 2015): Very pleasant and staff very helpful. Also quiet at night, making it easy to get a good night's sleep. Position of campus so close to town and station was a bonus

Mrs Ann T (Holland Hall, University of Exeter, April 2015): The overall experience was excellent. I would have liked different pillows on the bed, but this might be an age thing. Great value for the money.

Mr JOHN U (Holland Hall, University of Exeter, August 2014): An excellent breakfast and service in dinning room with very helpful and friendly staff.

Mrs Juliette S (Mardon Hall, University of Exeter, August 2014): Good all round service. Clean and tidy room. Lovely breakfast, served by friendly staff. This was my first experience of university rooms and I'll definitely use again.

Mrs Juliette S (Mardon Hall, University of Exeter, August 2014): Good all round service. Clean and tidy room. Lovely breakfast, served by friendly staff. This was my first experience of university rooms and I'll definitely use again.

Mrs Ann T (Holland Hall, University of Exeter, August 2014): This was my second stay at Holland Hall, my friend and I enjoyed it immensely. We look forward to another stay maybe next year. Its very good value for money and very comfortable accommodation and the breakfasts are fabulous.

Mrs Jeanne S (Holland Hall, University of Exeter, August 2014): Very good experience with exceptional breakfast and staff. One small point -I would say that reception staff could have been more welcoming.

Mr Maurice K (Mardon Hall, University of Exeter, August 2014): All staff (reception, dining room and room cleaning staff) were very courteous and helpful. The room and facilities were clean and functional.

Mrs Helen C (Holland Hall, University of Exeter, August 2014): Really enjoyed our stay . Fabulous views over the valley if you get an outward facing room. Lots of choice for breakfast . Double rooms have standard double beds. Definitely recommend Holland Hall.

Ms Tricia G (Holland Hall, University of Exeter, July 2014): I enjoyed my stay - the staff were very helpful; bed linen and towels were spotless, and lots of choice for breakfast.

Mrs Angela M (Mardon Hall, University of Exeter, July 2014): Lovely place to stay, handy to all areas of Exeter and so clean and tidy. Amazing breakfast and amazing value accommodation. Thank you.

Miss Caroline D (Mardon Hall, University of Exeter, July 2014): Great room for breakfast and friendly staff! The room was all we needed! The shower facilities could be a bit more private!

Mr Peter L (Holland Hall, University of Exeter, June 2014): It's a great residence and I appreciate that I was placed in a room with a view of the valley. Thank you.

Ms Susan R (Holland Hall, University of Exeter, June 2014): Satisfied with everything. Unfortunately had to leave early for work so missed the breakfast. Only comments would be it was a very hot day and the room was very hot and took ages to cool down. Perhaps windows could be opened before guests arrive if possible. Also TV would be nice but understand it may not be that type of accommodation. Good price for me as I stay in Exeter a lot and it can get a bit expensive.

Mrs JOAN B (Holland Hall, University of Exeter, April 2014): very good service + accommodation in en suite room , would certainly recommend to friends .

Mrs Monika L (Holland Hall, University of Exeter, August 2013): Great views, helpful, friendly people, we liked it!

Mr George C (Holland Hall, University of Exeter, July 2013): We were very impressed by the quality of the accommodation and the excellent breakfasts. The reception staff were very helpful and dealt with any query in a quick and courteous manner. Comfortable three day stay and good weather for the well organised graduation ceremony and reception.

Mr John F (Holland Hall, University of Exeter, July 2013): I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to Holland Park and would recommend it to others.

Mrs Kate D (Holland Hall, University of Exeter, July 2013): It was very good and we hope to visit again. Our only concern might be for older people negotiating all the flights of stairs to the accommodation. For us, 7 flights with 9 steps on each was fine but others might find that and carrying a suitcase too, a bit difficult. We loved the place and the views!

Miss lorraine M (Mardon Hall, University of Exeter, April 2013): we enjoyed our stay and everyone was nice, polite and helpful-nothing special but definately you get what you pay for

Mr Thomas H (Holland Hall, University of Exeter, October 2012): A great experience. All the staff were very nice and helpful, and did their jobs efficiency. The room was clean, and it was very convenient to be based on campus. The price was great. The breakfast was excellent and filling; plenty to keep us going for the day. I would recommend this without hesitation.

Mr Martin O (Holland Hall, University of Exeter, September 2012): Really helpful staff.

Mrs Pamela B (Holland Hall, University of Exeter, September 2012): We enjoyed our brief stay on your lovely campus very much. Breakfast was awesome. Staff answered our questions and recommended the Imperial for supper, which we liked very much too. Thanks! Would not hesitate to stay again or recommend to others.

Mr P R (Holland Hall, University of Exeter, August 2012): A great place to stay

Miss Rosemary L (Mardon Hall, University of Exeter, August 2012): I was so impressed with everything, I've been recommending your B&B facility to everyone! Here's what was brilliant: Clipper organic/Fairtrade teas - including green tea!- in the rooms. The presentation and choice of breakfast, again, especially appreciated the Clipper teas, organic yoghurt and the fact you provide soya milk, thank you! The staff I encountered were all incredibly helpful and friendly and I'm especially grateful to the reception staff who let me leave my heavy rucksack for the day when I checked out as I wasn't leaving Exeter until the afternoon and didn;t want to be carrying it around with me all day. The grounds were an added bonus, what a stunning campus and the clear commitment to nature and environmental thinking was impressive. The only thing that wasn't brilliant (but was fine nonetheless) was the shower facilities, not good water pressure and nowhere to put clothes. Thank you for a great stay!

Mr Robin H (Holland Hall, University of Exeter, August 2012): We didn't have breakfast so won't judge that. We enjoyed our stay, and will return when next in Exeter! View from our room was breathtaking. We appreciated the easy access to wifi, which we did not have when we stayed in another hall at Exeter (Pennsylvania I Think.)

Mrs Elaine S (Holland Hall, University of Exeter, July 2012): Very enjoyable stay, will certainly do this again

Mrs Melanie C (Holland Hall, University of Exeter, July 2012): Exceptionally clean room, one of the best beds we have slept in (very firm mattress)!A good breakfast and easy parking. Thank you.

Mrs Jane S (Mardon Hall, University of Exeter, July 2012): I had in all booked a double room (14-15 July) and 3 singles (15 July) for family attending my son's graduation. The only thing I would have liked better was for the cooked breakfast to have opened at 7.30 am on 16 July as my son had to be in the Great Hall by 8.30 am for the 9 am graduation. In all other respects we had a really good time. As my son had been in Mardon in his first year, we enjoyed the experience of a staying in his hall of residence. It was a delightful coincidence as well that the double room we had had been his room!

Mrs Jane S (Mardon Hall, University of Exeter, July 2012): The only thing I would have liked better is for the cooked breakfast to have opened at 7.30 am on the day of the graduation (16 July) as our son had the 9 am gradaution slot and we had to rush though the breakfast to get to the Grat Hall by 8.30 am. We appreciated that the car parking was right in front of Mardon Hall, and that the staff opened up the library room in Mardon for us on Sunday afternoon (15 July) as it was a nice place for our family members to meet up that afternoon.
